Meta
I think that both of these pictures are representing Shelter, protection, and safety.
These pictures are for that social studies thing.
Picture one says: A nice place to relax because you know you are safe.
Picture two says: A place called Atlantis because you can see all the under water details.
I think who ever drew these pictures is an amazing artist.
This first picture looks like a fortress or a castle it is very cool.
The second picture look like it is under water.
I think the first one is very cool because they look real. The second one is very real to because it is so realistic.
Could you explain your sentence: “The second one is very real to because it is so realistic.”
From what I think about those pictures is that the artist who drew them is very skilled at drawing(sketching).
It’s incredible ,who did it …..I’m so impressed
What do you find incredible? This is the work of M.C. Escher. Click here to see more of his work.
I think the 1st one well obviously very big and I think they might be in space or something because it looks like the people are dressed in space suits.
The 2nd one looks like it is underwater because there is a lot of underwater plants and sand that is placed in a certain way so that they can put houses in the sand. What I don’t understand is why it looks like it is underwater but there is a waterfall connected to the house thing and it is running…underwater. I think.
I think these pictures are showing what kind of places you COULD live in the future or now a days if possible.
Well those are amazing buildings and I want a house something like that, it would be awesome. I wonder how long it took to make those buildings. 🙂
This picture is absolute amazing and cool the artist is a good sketcher.
What do you find amazing and cool about the drawings?
I think they both represent shelter, homes, safety and life.
Look at the paths of the water and the stairs…do you notice something extraordinary?
yepity yep yep
What exactly are you agreeing with? Why do you agree?
Mr. Bell is this mean something? Like for what we learnt yesterday on shelter, protection and safety?
No, these are two drawings to look at and share your thoughts. It is nice to see people make connections to other things though.
Well I really like the 1st picture because of the details. And that it shows volume and the shadings on it are very artistic.
These pictures I think are from the late 60’s or early 70’s. The first picture looks look it is in Egypt. The second picture looks like it is underwater because it has coral in the picture and sand in the background. The unique thing about the first picture is the hole in the middle of the roof it looks like. Those are my opinions on the picture.
I like the underwater one the BEST! It is so ooooo cool
I find it unique
I find it incredible because it looks hard
I think that both of these pictures are representing Shelter, protection, and safety. The 2nd one looks like it is underwater because there is a lot of underwater plants and sand.
