Stuck…Now What?

Hi Class! Imagine you are stuck in an elevator for several hours. You are alone. How do you spend the time? Describe what you would do and how you would feel while waiting to be saved. What would you do once the doors were opened?

To pass the time I would just go to bed on the floor. When the doors would open I would get up and go home.รผ

If I was stuck in an elevator I would probably just sit there and do nothing because what is there to do in an elevator all alone. When the doors opened I would be happy and go home and hug my mom. ๐Ÿ™‚

If I were stuck in the elevator I would probably freak out and cry. ha ha ha. Well maybe I wont cry but I will still freak out. I have always been scared of getting stuck in an elevator. I would stand there just waiting for someone to come save us. I would phone 911 with my parents phone if they were there. If they weren’t I would be more scared and then I think that is the point where I would freak out. When the doors open I would RUN out and try and find a phone so I could call my parents. I hope that never happens to me in any time of my life.

If I were stuck in a dark room that has no way out and water rising I would have an accident

Jacob – Remember your purpose and audience. Word choice at the workplace (school) is perhaps different than word choice with your friends and peers.

I would sit there and sleep until someone came and stay calm and wait for someone to help me. When I get out I would never take an elevator again.

  9. Mrs. Hauer says:

It would be a scary situation for me! I’m claustrophobic so I would have to try and remain calm for sure! I would pray, stretch out maybe. I would do a lot of thinking about my family. If I had my cell phone and it was working, I would try and phone people to let them know the situation I was in. When the doors opened i would probably go for a long run in a cool breeze!

I would be scared, I would use those phones in the elevator and call the people that I need to phone. I would breath slowing and try to calm down to lower my heart beat so I don’t run out of oxygen and suffocate. I would just sit there until some one came. I would be relieved that I wouldn’t have to sit in there anymore and wast my time.

  11. Kyle says:

I would also probably just play around with the buttons.

  12. Mrs. Hauer says:

I also like the idea of sleeping through the whole ordeal!!
