The Legacy of…

Hi Class! This week we read The Legacy of da Vinci. A simple explanation of ‘legacy’ is anything that is handed down (good or bad; useful or useless; valuable or worthless). Based on your dreams, goals and imagination, predict the following:

What will be your legacy…

  • once you have completed elementary school? high school? university?
  • if you become a husband or wife; mom or dad; uncle or aunt?

There is no correct answer to this topic, but it will be evident if you have put some thought into a meaningful response. Another way to consider this topic is to explain how you want people to remember you.

Your post (well written and supported with details/examples) is due November 30, 2011.

I want my legacy is to be a Artist or and a great teacher, with a great education. Once I have completed elementary school, high school, and university I am going to make my way up to a teacher and half time enjoy doing my own art works. If I become a wife, aunt, or mom I will try my hardest to become the best I can be for everyone of those. I want people to remember me as a nice and caring person with a big heart. I want people to remember me as a unique person who puts their all into everything. 🙂

Nicely said – the world can always use caring people with big hearts!

Quick Fix: use ‘an’ in front of words beginning with a vowel (an artist)

I would like to not be remembered as someone not that bright but, I would like to get remembered as someone that tried to accomplish goals through out the year. I won’t be going to any high school in Kamloops so if some do say something about me I won’t have to listen to it. When I go to the other high school though hopefully they will remember.

My legacy is to be on the R.C.M.P. I would like to be on the R.C.M.P. because it seem like a good job. The pay is good, you get benefits, and most important of all I am interested in it. The most important thing about choosing a job is pick one you would like to do.

  7. Remmy koocha says:

For my legacy I would like to be a father. Most people In pre-school are likely to want to be a police man, astronaut or firehouse chief. but being father would almost be the most important thing in the world to me.

I wont to be remembered as one of those people that could do a lot of things and that could be very fun to be around. I want people to think of me that way so I could have a better career as well a pretty big amount of friends from school that would always be my friend.
