Hi Class! Read and comment about the messages written by the parties running in the current election:

What were your reactions to the messages? What ideals (from any/all parties) are important to you? How would you deal with the issues if you were elected?
If you think about it, aren’t all the parties wanting the same thing? They want good education and health care, more BC jobs, and a balanced budget, blah blah blah. I was most disappointed by the Conservative Party, they didn’t say anything! So it makes me wonder if they even care about us, since we are British Columbia’s future voters. I would not want to be elected. Imagine, a whole lot of people would dislike your decisions, and they would always know your mistakes.
You make an insightful comment about the parties wanting the same thing. It would be difficult to be elected with a platform of destroying our economy, education, environment, health care. The debate is how to accomplish the ‘same thing’ in different ways. How would you go about solving the issues?
