  • PHE (Friday)
    • Research some footbag (or Hacky Sack) tricks and kicks so that we can do more moves that do not use your hands!
      • You will be asked to share some of the moves you discovered – you don’t have to be ‘good’ at the move, but you are expected to explain or demonstrate it to others. (1 on 1, small group or whole group)

September 15 (Wednesday)

  • Be Bear Aware!
    • According to the BCSPCA:
      • Make yourself look big. – stand tall, raise your arms and spread your legs
      • Don’t make eye contact with the bear. – they may see this as a threat or a challenge
      • Make loud noises. – yell, clap your hands, use a bear bell, or bang things together
      • Back away slowly. – don’t run, keep backing away until the bear is out of sight
