Hi Class! In case you missed it yesterday, here is the link for Canada’s Debt Clock.

What do you think about how much money we owe? Should we pay more taxes to lower our debt? Should we reduce or eliminate services to lower our debt? Should we do both? Should we do nothing and leave it for future generations?

    I think we should pay less debt, it’s not fare to pay this much.

      Quick Fix: fare = what you pay for a ticket (on a bus, train, plane…); fair = just

    I think we should raise taxes by about 5% Then we should pay some of it.

    Stop spending as much money as we are right now but still spend some and eliminate some of our services that we have to many of.

    I guess now we should BUT I DO NOT WANT THE PRICES OF STORE ITEMS AND TAXES TO GO UP WHEN I OWN A HOUSE.

    I geuss we should stop spending so much money and just ya not spend lot’s of money!!!!!

    I think that we should higher our taxes even though I hate taxes but to get rid of Canada’s dept. Canada’s dept is too high we need to pay it of.

      We elect leaders to spend tax dollars. How do we get the message to our leaders that the debt is a significant issue?

    I think that the money we owe is verry bad…no we should not pay more.no.we should not leave this for future genarations because this will be even bigger issue

    i think that the government should work on putting money into the debt so the debt would lower.
