1. Who will win in the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo riding? Remember, the candidates are Donovan Cavers (Green Party), Michael Crawford (NDP), Christopher Kempling (Christian Heritage Party), Cathy McLeod (Conservative Party), and Murray Todd (Liberal Party).
2. Who will be the next Prime Minster of Canada? Remember, the choices are Stephen Harper (Conservative Party), Michael Ignatieff (Liberal Party), Elizabeth May (Green Party), and Jack Layton (NDP).
3. Will there be a majority government or a minority government?

Hi Class! Today’s topic is about longer school days. Answer at least one of the scenarios below. Your answer must provide several reasons and be written at a grade 6.75 or grade 7.75 level. Please note that at the end of this week, you will be asked to identify your best post (proper spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and idea development).

Scenario #1: Would you be willing to have 75 minutes extra class time per day in exchange for a three day weekend every week?

Scenario #2: Would you be willing to have 15 minutes extra class time per day in exchange for a two week spring break?

Scenario #3: Would you be willing to have year-round school? This is where you have approximately three months of school then approximately one month break. This cycle repeats itself throughout the year.

Hi Class! In the spirit of Backwards Day, ask a question in your post for other people to answer. Your question must involve something beyond a simple yes/no, agree/disagree style answer.

While you wait for your question to be posted, work on Mathletics. Come back to the blog in a few minutes and answer some of your classmates’ questions.
